Singidunum University is a fulfillment of decennial aspirations of several university professors who have already made notable carriers as renowned lecturers at public faculties, and their efforts to introduce modern standards and methods in Serbian higher education, which are already applied at many modern universities worldwide.

Although only a decade old, Singidunum University is innovative, with great ambitions and notable potential. Faculties that are parts of our University offer vast selection of disciplines, such as:  financial management & insurance; informatics & computing; tourism & hospitality management; engineering management; economics, finance & administration; media & communication; European legal & political studies, and studies of applied ecology.

When configuring the university study programs, syllabi, curricula and extra-curricular activities, our main concern was to meet the needs and interests of students. So, our university’s long-range commitment is to assure them a high quality education experience and make them, after graduation, competent professionals in their respective branches.

Our academic staff consists of the professors who earned their academic titles and degrees mostly at the esteemed higher education institutions in Serbia and abroad.  Teaching quality improvement, introduction of the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS) and the Diploma Supplement are all results of our wish to work in accordance with the Bologna Declaration. This will enable our students to study at other European universities and to participate in the world knowledge market on an equal footing.
Furthermore, we have not discarded some good practices nurtured by our national education system that secured the respect to our graduated professionals for many decades worldwide. Connecting these two principles, tradition plus innovation, and making a balance between them along our path as we strive to build a modern European university, we are going towards our future success – it is our license for the University of Future.
